Just 69 bucks. It’s a buy one get one. That’s a great deal too. Okay, let’s get into the two games we’re watching tonight in the NBA.
One between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Denver Nuggets. Right now, we’re looking at alternate line shares, folks. We’ve got two books with Denver favored by one or one-half. We’re looking at a couple books with Cleveland favored by one.
We're looking at some shops in the pickle. Uh, it's sitting at 239 and a half right now. Uh, 240 is out there. 240 and a half is out there too. Um, this is an interesting matchup because,
Oh, obviously this is the second matchup between these two teams this year. The first one was on January 2nd, which was a little over a month ago. Nikol Ukic didn't play in that game.
Um, and the game was in Cleveland. And if you can believe it, Cleveland went into that game as a 13 and a half point favorite. Oh, so the fact is
that we're down 12 points here. Um, and that game, by the way, Cleveland won 113 to 108. Now, while Jock is probably the best player in the NBA,
I don't know if he's worth it, if you give him three points for home court, two or three points, and, you know, we'll spread it out to Denver,
whatever that is. Oh, I don't think he's worth 10 points. Now, normally that would get you Cleveland, but still, I think the Nuggets are winning this game.
Um, I look at tomorrow. I think the game is over. Um, this Denver team has been giving up a ton of points of late. They're also 24th in the league in non-defensive efficiency.
Now, Cleveland is 11th, but um the problem with this game here is that there are a ton of injuries to deal with when it comes to that.
Nicole Yic is once again um dayto day listed in this. Aaron Gordon is out. Jamal Murray is questionable for the Cavaliers. James Harden is back in the lineup now.
Back in the lineup with Cleveland. It looks like EvanMobley is out for the game here. Um, listed as out at this point in time. Not sure when he'll be back.
Wait, I'll pull that up here in just a second because oh, you know, this is really one of those games where you're going to have to wait until near the tip to decide
where they are. Yeah. Oh, Evan Mobley is expected to be out for a week this game. Um, Jaylen Tyson is questionable for tonight's game as well.
Definitely a little longer at most. So, he won't be back until late February. But yeah, it's tough from that standpoint to try to get this thing off the ground with all the injury question marks.
Still, I think Denver won a game. Cleveland hasn't been a great road team this year, and there's no reason not to believe
that they will. When you look at, you know, their numbers on the road, um 12 and 13 straight up, I'm sorry, 15 and 10 straight up, 12-13 against that number.
Um, this is a Cleveland team that's 21 and 32 against the spread overall this year. They're not the same level of team they've been in years. And oh, by the way, with James Harden in the fold,
maybe even less defensively. Remember, you know the rating I gave you of Cleveland as 11th in defensive efficiency,
they're obviously going to fall into the lineup that they built with James Harden, Darius Skrand and everything else. So, I think there's a change here.
I think the over is in play and I think Denver is absolutely in play on the money line as well. So those are the two areas that I would look at to play out this matchup between these two teams.
Um, continuing here, let's look at the other matchup between Oklahoma City and the Los Angeles Lakers vs Thunder. We're seeing OKC as a 6-and-a-half point favorite right now.
Seven-and-a-half in some outlets too. With 223 and a half overall. That's 223, 222 and a half. Seems like the bottom of the market between these two teams here.
Um, look, this is a pretty bad Lakers vs Thunder defense coming into this game. I don't think it's a shock to anyone to say what we're saying at this point.
Um, you also won't get any Luka Doncic in this game because he's on the roster with a hamstring injury. So, um, that changes things dynamically.
Again, the Lakers vs Thunder have made a lot of trades at this point, so things are a little different for them. OKC just keeps plugging and plotting,
Man, um, in this game too, uh, Schiegeldas Alexander is out. He won't be back until after the All-Star break. So, he's still got 10 more days in this game too.
That said, if we're looking at the backups and the reserves and who has the edge here, I'm still giving it to OKC as a deeper team and a better team.
18-7 on the road this year, 12 and 12 straight up.Lakers vs Thunder um 12 and 12 against Lakers 14 and eight straight on the road and 129 and a uh number against.
And this is a spot here for the Lakers and OKC with one of the lowest totals that we've seen in recent memory between you guys just in the last two years
Where LeBron you know with the Lakers and OKC is on the rise. We haven't seen a total below 230 um and now we're sitting at 223 between these two teams.
Yeah, I think injuries are part of it. Um, but this is also Oklahoma City, you know, with a great defense. And there are a lot of reasons to think
that the under could come out with all these players. Oh, and I'll check the numbers again here. Um, the money is coming from the over though. It opened at 219 and a half.
And so, we're looking at buying money in the over, which could be an indication of where it goes. But I don't have a sense overall
Just because it's hard to be handicapped with all the injuries. I think Oklahoma City is clearly the better team and the deeper team though and they'll take better advantage of theLakers vs Thunder' defense here.
So even a team total is where you can see OKC here with only ATa at 115. Oh, I know they're not scoring a single group,
especially without Shay Gildish Alexander in the lineup. When you look at OKC, who have lost two straight games to Houston and San Antonio.
Um, but when you look at them against bad defenses and what they’ve been able to do here. Um, just to check Orlando, between road defenses.
They scored 128 runs against them at home. Denver, a bad defense, as we speak, they scored 121 runs. Um, Minnesota’s good defense, only 111.
A low-scoring game that took advantage of New Orleans in that low game, you know. So, it’s hard to predict the injuries, but it’s definitely going to be a game
that’s going to be worth watching given the two teams involved. So, I can give you this as the best sign that the Oklahoma City Thunder have.
