Apple's Foldable iPhone Rumored to Feature Unrivaled Battery Life

Apple’s foldable iPhone is rumored to feature unprecedented battery life. So guys, in 2026, we’re going to get a brand new iPhone, an iPhone Fold.

And I’m super excited about this new iPhone. And today I want to tell you about 10 leaks and rumors about it, and also cover the details, release date, and price.

Solet starts with number one, and it has to do with design. And in fact, I’ve 3D printed a mockup 1 of the iPhone Fold design.

Let’s take a closer look at my desk. So, you can see here that I’ve printed it in red. What possible color did we have here? And of course,

You can see how it opens up. It’s a little different design than your typical kind of foldable. It’s a little more like a wallet.

Kind of the design here. Not like a full book

like we've had with some of the other foldables out there. And even comparing it to my iPhone 17 Pro Max, you can see the difference in size.

It's definitely wider here, you know, even with the phone's screen folded. But then again, if I open it up and then put my iPhone 17 Pro Max

Inside it, in landscape position, you can also see the differences that we're going to have.

Getting here, but yeah, it's nice to tease a little bit of the potential of what we're going to get with the design of it. But then that also leads me to the other big leak

that you guys want to know about. And it also has to do with the actual screen size. So, as I just showed, the actual screen on the front is smaller.

And yeah, that's because we've been told that the front screen is now probably going to be a 5.5-inch display. Now, we've had a 5.5in display in the past. And that was with the Plus models.

When we had the iPhone 6 Plus, 6s Plus, 7 Plus, and 8 Plus. You remember those? We had an A5.5 in the display. So, that's going to be the same size as that.

But then inside of that, when we actually open up the camera, obviously, it's actually going to be a 7.8 in the 8 display inside of that. So, we're just talking

about an inch more or less than what you get with the iPhone 17 Pro Max right now. But obviously, as we saw, it's completely different

from what we're going to get inside. And if you want to know, the old Pad Mini had the home button under it. Well, it was a 7.9 in the display.

So, it's close to that kind of size. So yeah, it's definitely a different feel that Apple is taking with its foldable phone. And that also brings me to the third big thing

that you need to know. And 3 is that many of you are wondering with this fold, how bad is it to have it inside?

Well, we are told that Apple has actually developed a kind of hydraulic-type liquid hinge. What preventer really helps prevent the actual crease from happening on their iPhone Fold model?

And that is a big reason why Apple is 8 years late to the party in bringing a foldable phone. They didn’t want creases on the inside of their foldable. So, they are waiting for the right time,

which is to help them work with manufacturers to get it completely. And it looks like they are working with Samsung to develop it.

And it looks like we will have a completely no-crease phone in this foldable, which would be absolutely amazing. And also, when you put your finger on the edge, it won't have any kind of dip or anything like that.

What other foldables do at the moment? So, it's amazing news to hear that Apple is working on it. So, yeah, it's another thing to be aware of.

Now, the fourth thing you need to know is what material this iPhone will be made of. Well, it's most likely made of titanium.

Samsung’s first Galaxy S26 teaser is for the ‘Privacy Display’ [Gallery]

It will be made of aluminum or not aluminum depending on what we like with the likes of the iPhone Air. And that obviously helps Apple make it a lot thinner.

And in fact, we've been told that with this new iPhone, it's more likely that when you actually close it,

Fully folded, it's going to be about 12 millimeters thick. But then obviously when you open it, when you open it, it's actually about 6 millimeters thick.

Now, I know there are other phone manufacturers out there, like Samsung, for example, that have gone for 8.9 millimeters or 8.8 millimeters thick. It's 3 millimeters thick. But obviously, this is Apple's first.

You have to remember where Samsung came from, where they had the first foldable. It was very thick at the time. So, yeah, it's definitely going to be interesting to see

how Apple develops this and see how it goes in the future. But yeah, just to be aware, titanium. And then obviously it's going to be about 12 millimeters thick when closed,

but when you open it, it's obviously going to be very thin. However, you may have also noticed that there’s no Face ID visible on the screen in these renders.

And that actually leads me to the fifth big thing I want to tell you about. And it looks like Face ID won’t be on this iPhone.

It looks like we’re going back to Touch ID. And specifically the iPhone. It’s going to be a Touch ID button, like we have on the power button with the regular iPad, iPad Air, and iPad mini.

So, over here, it makes a lot more sense because then you can verify for yourself whether you’ve opened or closed this iPhone Fold. So, yeah, it makes a lot more sense

that we’re not going to have Face ID, but instead you’re going to have your fingerprint to authenticate this phone. So, yeah, if you’re a fan of Touch ID,

it’s coming back. So guys, quick, I want to tell you about a new channel giveaway here. That's right. I'm giving away a Mac Mini.

I can give it away as close and fast as I can. But the second thing you need to do to enter is list in the comments belowwhat tech stuff you're into.

Hope to get it in 2026. Maybe you're going to get yourself a new MacBook Pro.

You may get yourself a Nintendo Switch 2. Maybe you're going to get yourself something completely different. Whatever it is, let me know in the comments below.

Give it to this lucky potential winner. The last thing I want to say to you guys quickly is that, sadly, there are still a lot of scammers and spammers out there.

People still impersonate messaging on WhatsApp, Telegram, and Instagram Direct Messages. Please ignore those people. Best is here. Please report them.

So, moving on from that, let's talk about the cameras for this phone. Well, we're told for the cameras that there will be a total of four of them.

And the reason there will be four of them is that you'll have one on the front screen. So, this will be when you actually turn it off. It'll be a little punch-hole camera at the top. Obviously,

No Face ID. Which we've already talked about. But then obviously when you open it up, you'll actually see another camera inside, maybe somewhere in the corner or something.

But then on the back of this phone, there will only be two cameras for cameras three and four. And basically, these cameras will probably be wide and also an ultrawide camera on the back.

There probably won't be a telephoto on the back of this phone. If you want to get telephoto-type zooming here, that's obviously what the people who like the iPhone Pro models say

Because obviously that's more of a video type vibe to do with, you know, photos. That's what this phone is not for. This phone is more of a notebook-type companion notepad,

You know, you get the idea. An iPad idea. The cameras aren't the main features here on this phone, although they're still going to be great for what they have on it.

So, just be aware of that. There will only be four cameras. There won't be five. There won't be an extra one on the back. But it looks like there will only be an ultrawide.

And the width of the back of this phone. But then, after that, the next figure you want to know about is battery life. And 7 that takes us to number seven with that.

We've been hearing that Apple is working on making or using the solid type of high-density batteries that are out there, those carbon type batteries that are out there.

Obviously, there are a lot of other manufacturers that are using them right now. Honor, I know, is a company that uses them in their foldables. And it seems

that this is something that Apple is trying to fit into their iPhone foldable phone. So, the size of the battery type inside of it will probably be around 5,3005,500 mAh battery.

What you have to think about right now is like the iPhone Air. Obviously, it has a 3,000 mAh battery, but remember that it has a 6.5 in the display

inside of it. So, yeah, obviously it has a dual screen, things like that. A little bit smaller. You can see what Ime is. We could potentially say about a 2,750 mAh type battery on each side of it.

Obviously, working together gives us about 5,500 mAh. But they will be these new high-density batteries. So that means better and longer battery life.

With that, it leads to the eighth big thing that we have heard about quite funny, and that is that we will also include the A20 Pro in this phone.

So this is the same chip that we are going to get in the iPhone 18 Pro and the iPhone 18 Pro Max. It is also being added to it. So this is very good news to hear.

It's also going to be built on a 2-nanometer chip. So, it's going to be even more efficient and faster. So, it's going to help with battery life as well. But then, for the ninth major upgrade, we've also heard that this phone

that it's going to be carrying the C2 chip and the N1 chip as well. We have the N19 chip right now, which is the NetworkOne chip that Apple has custom-built.

For example, it gives us the ability to grab Wi-Fi 7. We're not quite there yet with Wi-Fi 8. That could roll out later this year,

but obviously, that phone won't be getting it this year, maybe next year. But we'll also get that C2 chip, second-generation or third-generation,  if you don't count the C1X

where we'll be able to talk to 5G connectivity. And that's going to be huge news to hear. But it also leads the 10me to the 10th major upgrade

which we're going to get with this foldable phone as well. And it looks like we're going to get satellite connectivity in that as well, helped by this C2 chip.

So, that means you're going to be able to be in the middle of the desert. You're going to be able to go to the middle of the forest. You could be standing in the middle of Greenland, for example, or anywhere

Or even say on an airplane, and you're going to be able to connect to the satellite and still get a data connection.
