In March last year, U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance’s visit to U.S. bases in Greenland was flagged off by prominent Greenlandic politicians. His wife, Usha Vance, plans to meet with the outgoing Father Drew Aya.

Greenland Prime Minister Mota Ege called the plan offensive and said the two were not invited to meet.
