Danish PM tells Trump to stop 'threats' against Greenland

Danish PM tells Trump to stop 'threats' against Greenland. Cancel the Olympics. Los Angeles, talking about the National Guard, you pulled the National Guard out of Portland in Los Angeles.

You know what? You know, Portland, we almost got it to nocrime. You know what? But we pulled it out.

We had a Supreme Court ruling, and we could go back. We're allowed to go in, but we'll go back as soon as the crime starts. Look, the crime's going to start soon.

Because they know now that we're out and at the right time. We'll go back, and if you know we're allowed to, we can. We have the most powerful thing.

We haven't used the Sedition Act. You're considering using the Sedition Act. We've always thought it, but we've never needed it anywhere.

48% of the presidents of this country have used it. Bush used it 22 times or something. You know what I mean.

Bush your short-term for the next two weeks. What do you need from Daley Rodriguez? You have full access. We need full access.

We need access to oil and dental stuff in their country that allow us to rebuild their country. What stuff? Lots of stuff.

Roads that aren't built, bridges that are falling apart. Yeah, bridges that are falling apart. Nobody can get anywhere. On Greenland. Oh, you know what? Greenland now. Yeah.

On Greenland. How did we get to Greenland? So, do you expect to take action on Greenland? Well, I don't want to talk about Greenland.

Let's talk about Venezuela, Russia, and Ukraine, and we'll be worried about Greenland in about two months. Let's talk about Greenland in 20 days.

In Venezuela, we say a lot. By the way, I have to say this about Greenland. We need Greenland from a national security perspective. It's so strategic right now.

Greenland is covered with Russian and Chinese ships everywhere. We need Greenland from a national security perspective, and Denmark is not able to do that.

I can tell you, you know what Denmark did recently to increase security in Greenland? They added another dome sled. That's true.

They thought it was a great move. What would be the justification for praising Greenland? Oh, I don't want to talk about Greenland.

I'm just saying this. We need Greenland from a national security perspective, and the European Union needs us, and they know it.

US-Greenland Dispute: Trump Aide's Wife 'Soon' Post On Greenland Sparks Uproar

US-Greenland Dispute: Trump aide's wife's 'soon' Greenland post sparks uproar, Denmark demands the US stop threatening Greenland.

Now, Washington's military intervention in Venezuela has reignited fears for Greenland. Now, Trump has repeatedly said he wants Greenland to become an integrated part of the United States.

These concerns were underscored by Trump's comments in The Atlantic magazine, in which he was asked in a telephone interview about the implications of Venezuela's military action for Greenland.

Now, Trump has said that it is up to others to decide, but the US needs Greenland. Now, Trump has claimed.

That making Greenland part of the United States would serve US national security interests, given its strategic location in the Arctic. Furthermore, Greenland is rich in important minerals used in the high-tech sector.

He called on Washington to stop threatening what he called Denmark's historic interests. Earlier on Saturday, Katie Miller, the wife of Trump's deputy chief of staff, Stephen Miller,

posted a controversial photo of the Danish autonomous region in the colors of the American flag on her former feed. Now her post has been quickly followed by a caption.

England's Prime Minister Jens Fredrik Nielsen has now called the post disrespectful. He highlighted that relations between nations and peoples are built on mutual respect and international law.

And that symbolic gestures that disrespect their status and rights are not. But he said it was neither a cause for panic nor a cause for concern.

Trump Adviser’s Wife Posts US Flag Painted Over Greenland Amid Venezuela Ops, Irks Denmark

Trump Adviser’s Wife Paints US Flag on Greenland Amid Venezuela Operations, Erik's Denmark Now, a social media post by the wife of prominent Trump aide Steven Miller in Denmark.

Has become a political flashpoint and has drawn criticism from the Danish ambassador to the US. A previous post by Katie Miller showed a map of Greenland.

The painting of the American flag has now sparked a diplomatic row under the theme. Miller’s wife quickly dropped a short caption saying so.

What has particularly ruffled some feathers in the North Atlantic nation of Denmark is the timing of the post, which came just hours after a major US operation in Venezuela.

That saw the capture of its President, Nicolas Maduro. Partners, emphasizing that their security interests are intertwined.

With Greenland already part of NATO, he added that Denmark has significantly increased its Arctic security spending and expects full respect for the kingdom’s territorial integrity.

Trump attempted to buy Greenland at the end of his first term, but Denmark refused. Since returning to the White House in 2025, Trump has repeatedly expressed his interest in annexing Greenland under U.S. control,

a move his administration has made, including the appointment of a special envoy for the territory, which has drawn strong objections from Copenhagen as well as the European Union.

In March last year, U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance’s visit to U.S. bases in Greenland was flagged off by prominent Greenlandic politicians. His wife, Usha Vance, plans to meet with the outgoing Father Drew Aya.

Greenland Prime Minister Mota Ege called the plan offensive and said the two were not invited to meet.
